In the early morning hours of May 13, 2026, the life of 23-year-old Kim Maurice Rowland Jr. was tragically cut short in a barrage of gunfire outside the Vanity Lounge nightclub in Hamer, South Carolina. The Dillon County community was shaken by the violence that erupted shortly before 2:00 a.m., a chaotic scene with dozens of shots fired, sending patrons scrambling for safety.
