Tracie Jean Hawlett, a 17-year-old from Ozark, Alabama, was tragically murdered on July 31, 1999. She had been living with her mother and had been a high school student at the time of her death. On the day she was last seen, Tracie was spending time with her friend, 16-year-old Ronda “Shelly” McCullar. The two girls had plans to attend a party, but they never arrived.
