James "Boopa" McLean, aged 28, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2021, in Hamer, South Carolina. His death was the result of a violent incident that has left the community in shock and mourning. McLean was found shot in a wrecked car on Oakland Road in the Hamer community. The car had crashed into a tree, and upon investigation, it was discovered that McLean had been shot, leading authorities to treat his death as a homicide.
