James Adamski, an 18-year-old from Cheektowaga, New York, was last seen alive on the night of October 31, 1982, after attending a Halloween party at the 5&23 Bar on Transit Road in Depew. After leaving the party, Adamski was walking southward on Transit Road when he disappeared. His body was discovered nearly two months later, on December 26, 1982, by hunters in a shallow grave near Ransom Road in Lancaster.
