In the early morning hours of May 22, 2026, the life of 41-year-old Terence E. Lashea was tragically cut short by gunfire in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Police were dispatched to the 400 block of North 26th Street around 1:15 a.m. following reports of shots being fired in the residential neighborhood.
