Marston D. Jones, a 48-year-old man from Grenada, Mississippi, was killed on March 27, 2026, after a shooting on Minga Road in the Ligon Estates area of Grenada County. Deputies with the Grenada County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene after the gunfire that Friday morning, and Jones was later identified as the victim. Public memorial listings also describe him as having been lost to gun violence that same day in Grenada.
