In the early evening of March 30, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at the Cameron Crossing Apartment Complex in Lagrange, Georgia. When police responded to the scene at approximately 5:35 p.m., they discovered a tragic scene in the parking lot. Twenty-six-year-old Jakhala Marshay Moss was found unresponsive, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. As emergency medical aid was rendered to Moss, witnesses at the scene alerted officers to the possibility of a second victim.
