A resident of Elmhurst, Queens, Corona was last seen alive just before Christmas in 1995. His unexplained absence came to a grim end in January 1996 when his remains were found in a wooded area off the westbound side of the Northern State Parkway, approximately half a mile west of Veterans Memorial Highway in Suffolk County.
