In the early morning hours of April 8, 2026, the body of 37-year-old Arman Motiwalla was discovered in a commercial parking lot in Boca Raton, Florida. Motiwalla was an insurance executive and the chief operating officer at Synergy Insurance Affiliates.

In June of the previous year, he had filed a whistleblower lawsuit against Innovative Partners, a Coral Springs-based insurance company. In his lawsuit, Motiwalla alleged that the company had misappropriated funds and that he was fired for bringing these and other illegal business practices to light.
