In the early hours of April 14, 2026, a quiet street in the Fort Worth suburb of Benbrook was shattered by the sound of gunfire, leaving a man and a woman critically injured. The male victim was identified as 39-year-old Cliffton Wayne Jones. Police and emergency medical services were dispatched to a residence in the 4200 block of Plantation Drive around midnight following a report of shots fired.
