DeMario Vandale Tolbert, a 37-year-old Black man, died after a shooting on Saturday night, April 25, 2026, in Greenwood, South Carolina. The shooting was reported on Wheatfield Drive, where law enforcement responded after gunfire broke out. Tolbert was found wounded from a gunshot and was taken to the hospital, but he did not survive.
