On a crisp November evening in Buffalo, New York, 21-year-old Corey Green told his mother he was making a quick run for some ice cream and would be right back. Tragically, he would never return home. On November 12, 2007, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Corey was fatally shot outside of a former Dairy Queen located at 820 Walden Avenue. This male victim's death marked a devastating chapter in his family's life, as his mother had lost her older son to gun violence in Atlanta just ten months prior. ...
