In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Buffalo, New York, the life of 46-year-old Madjid Elbert was tragically cut short. On May 7, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting at the Del Denby Tavern on Hertel Avenue. There they found Elbert, a male chef, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Erie County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
