In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Albany, Georgia, the community was shattered by an eruption of gunfire that claimed the life of 31-year-old Kiambria "Kiki" Young, a Black/African American mother of five. The tragic incident unfolded on April 28, 2026, at approximately 10:43 p.m. at the intersection of Holloway Avenue and South Cleveland Street. Young was at the scene when the shooting began, and she was fatally wounded. Four other individuals were also injured in the violent outburst. ...
