In the early hours of March 27, 2026, Daniel Benson, a 51-year-old man, was fatally shot in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The shooting, which occurred near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Franklin Avenue East, also resulted in injuries to two other men. When police arrived at the scene, they found Benson deceased, while the other two victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
