In the early hours of Saturday, March 28, 2026, the life of Terrence Cramer, a 41-year-old male, was tragically cut short in Stratford, Connecticut. Police were dispatched to a residence on Feeley Street at approximately 1:44 a.m. following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Cramer suffering from a severe gunshot wound. Despite the immediate response and efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly thereafter.

According to the warrant, Bush broke into the home and found his ex-girlfriend in the bedroom with Cramer. An altercation ensued, during which Bush allegedly punched the woman and then shot Cramer. The woman told police that she had ended her relationship with Bush in January, but he had been sending her unwanted calls and messages and had shown up at her workplace just days before the fatal shooting. More than 60 of Cramer's fellow firefighters attended Bush's court arraignment to show their support for their fallen colleague.
