In the Little Woods neighborhood of New Orleans, on the afternoon of March 30, 2026, the life of 26-year-old Torrey Lewis was tragically cut short. Gunfire erupted around 12:40 p.m. in the 8600 block of Chase Street, drawing a swift response from local police. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Lewis suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite any efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
