On the evening of Monday, March 30, 2026, chaos erupted in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood of West Philadelphia, forever altering the lives of many. Naasir Boyd, a 24-year-old man, was caught in a hail of bullets that ultimately claimed his life. The gunfire began around 8:40 p.m. on the 300 block of South 60th Street, a bustling area with bodegas and take-out restaurants.
