In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Richmond, Virginia, a life was tragically cut short. Shamar Trimmer, a 29-year-old man from Henrico, was fatally shot on March 30, 2025, in the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in a parking lot located in the 1800 block of East Main Street. When Richmond Police officers arrived at the scene, they found Trimmer on the ground with a gunshot wound.
