In the spring of 2010, the life of 29-year-old Robert W. Burroughs, a Black male from Buffalo, New York, was abruptly cut short. On April 12, 2010, Burroughs died in what has since become a lingering mystery for his family and the community. His death was officially classified as a homicide, a violent end to a young life that left more questions than answers. The incident that claimed his life took place in the Elmwood area of Buffalo.
