Emergency services responded to the scene and transported Reid to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead the following day, February 10, 2026.
Reid was a father of four. Family members described him as a man who was actively working to turn his life around. His cousin, Joshua Cornelius, stated that Reid had been making considerable progress in recent months to rectify past mistakes and was focused on his children.
