On the evening of Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 16-year-old Da’Mar McKinney of Youngstown was found with a gunshot wound, lying in the snow outside an apartment complex on the 1300 block of Mahoning Avenue NW in Warren, Ohio. He was discovered just after 11 p.m. and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he tragically died from his injuries the following day.

The investigation into the death of the male teenager led to the arrest of two 18-year-old suspects, Ashaud Johnson and Willis Smith. ...
