On a quiet Thursday morning in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 12, 2026, the life of 28-year-old Robert Trayvon Sykes, a Black male, was tragically cut short. The events of that day unfolded in a home in the southwest valley, where a verbal argument escalated into a fatal encounter.
