In the early hours of Friday, February 13, 2026, a 26-year-old Middle Eastern man named Amir Ahmad was shot and killed in the Bronx, New York. The incident unfolded at approximately 12:20 a.m. in front of 660 Thwaites Place in the Allerton section of the borough. Police officers who were informed by Ahmad that he had been shot, transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the chest.
