In the early hours of Valentine's Day in downtown Cincinnati, a burst of violence on a party bus tragically ended the life of 29-year-old Tobias Hood. The shooting, which occurred on Saturday, February 14, 2026, also resulted in another individual being injured. Cincinnati Police were quick to respond, and their investigation led to the swift arrest of a suspect.
Hours after the fatal shooting, authorities apprehended 28-year-old De'Angelo Robinson.
He was subsequently charged with murder and felonious assault in connection with the incident that unfolded on East Third Street. In the ensuing legal proceedings, Robinson's defense attorney claimed that he acted in self-defense, alleging that one of the victims was armed and posed a threat. Prosecutors, however, presented a different view, highlighting that another person was seriously injured after being shot in the face.
