Reginald Parker Jr., a 23-year-old African American male from Cincinnati, Ohio, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2015. Parker was fatally shot while riding as a passenger in an unregistered cab in the East Westwood neighborhood of Cincinnati. The incident occurred when Eric Dean, a 16-year-old at the time, fired at the cab, striking Parker in the chest. Despite being rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Parker succumbed to his injuries.
