In Corpus Christi, Texas, on the afternoon of February 16, 2026, a dispute over services being rendered at a residence on Secretariat Drive tragically escalated, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Donovan Encinia. The young man was a male. At approximately 3:00 p.m., police responded to a call about a shooting in the 1900 block of the street. Upon arrival, they discovered Encinia with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers at the scene immediately began administering first aid until
medical personnel arrived. Encinia was then transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite the efforts to save him, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed his identity.
