On the evening of June 17, 2012, 25-year-old African-American male Hassan Jabbar was fatally shot on East Ferry Street between Fillmore Avenue and Kehr Street in Buffalo, New York. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. Emergency responders transported Jabbar to Erie County Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
