In the fading light of a Friday afternoon in Petersburg, Virginia, on January 23, 2026, the life of 14-year-old JaQuavyz Howell was tragically cut short. A freshman at Petersburg High School, JaQuavyz was known for his bright smile and his passion for football, a sport in which he showed considerable promise.
