On a Tuesday evening in Cincinnati, Ohio, the life of 31-year-old Merris Kelley was tragically cut short. On January 27, 2026, Kelley was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 4900 block of Ridge Avenue. Despite the immediate response and life-saving efforts of the Cincinnati Fire Department, Kelley was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting.
