On June 7, 2007, John Harris, a 25-year-old resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, was found dead on Fergus Street, having been shot during an apparent carjacking. Harris, the youngest of seven children and a father of three, was killed in the early hours of the morning. After 13 years of persistent efforts by law enforcement, two individuals—Christopher Whitt and Darris DeVaughn—were indicted in connection to his death.
