In the late hours of Saturday, January 31, 2026, the life of 32-year-old Jerome Harris was tragically cut short in Baytown, Texas. Originally from Louisiana, Harris had recently relocated to Baytown in pursuit of a new work opportunity, a move that promised a fresh start but ended in violence. That evening, at approximately 10 p.m., a call was made to the Baytown Police Department about an unresponsive male at an apartment complex situated in the 1700 block of James Bowie Drive.
