In the evening hours of Tuesday, February 3, 2026, a tragedy unfolded in Oxon Hill, Maryland, that cut short the life of 47-year-old Ricardo Lee Vance. First responders were dispatched to the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road at approximately 9:15 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Vance outside, suffering from a gunshot wound.
