In the early morning hours of December 28, 2025, the life of 19-year-old Nehemiah Neo Gonzalez was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire at a Fresno mobile home park. The Hispanic/Latino male was in a driveway at the Flamingo Mobile Home Park, located near Highway 99 and Central Avenue, when the shooting occurred around 6:45 a.m.
When Fresno County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered Gonzalez and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
Gonzalez succumbed to his injuries at the location, while the female victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have stated that they do not believe either Gonzalez or the injured woman were residents of the mobile home park.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and it has been classified as the 14th homicide case for the Fresno County Sheriff's Office in 2025. Despite dozens of rounds being fired in what investigators believe to be an isolated incident, a motive for the shooting has not been established. As of late December 2025, no suspects had been identified, and no arrests had been made in connection with the death of Nehemiah Gonzalez. Law enforcement officials have noted that Gonzalez had prior contact with them. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Fresno County Sheriff's Office or Valley Crime Stoppers.
