In the early moments of the new year, a celebration turned to tragedy in the small town of Tazewell, Virginia, culminating in the death of 30-year-old Bradon Coxton. On January 1, 2026, Coxton was fatally shot at his own home where he and his girlfriend were hosting a New Year's Eve party. The gathering, which had been promoted via a flyer, drew a large crowd, not all of whom were known to the couple.
