On the evening of January 13, 2026, a gathering of friends at the Forest Villa Apartments in Conyers, Georgia, turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 22-year-old Kaleb King. Witnesses reported that the group was having a "chilled night" when 21-year-old Amir Johnson allegedly burst through the door and fired approximately 10 shots, specifically targeting King. King was struck multiple times and died at the scene.
Following the shooting, Johnson fled through the back door of the home, leading to a week-long manhunt.
