On the morning of November 29, 2025, a violent incident occurred at the America’s Best Value Inn located at 1815 U.S. 301 South in Wilson, North Carolina. Officers with the Wilson Police Department were dispatched to the motel around 10:14 a.m. following reports of gunfire at the establishment. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim, 39-year-old male Kenneth Ray Finch Jr., suffering from a gunshot wound.
