On the afternoon of November 30, 2025, the quiet residential neighborhood of Wood Ranch in Simi Valley, California, was shattered by gunfire. Victoria "Vicki" Schiller Cordes, a 66-year-old female, and her husband, Dr. Eric Cordes, were ambushed in the garage of their home on the 500 block of Hawks Bill Place.
