In the early morning darkness of Saturday, December 20, 2025, a domestic tragedy unfolded within a residence on Allens Fork Road in Sissonville, West Virginia. Approximately 3:00 a.m., 46-year-old Jason Joe Phillips placed a call to Kanawha County Metro 911, calmly reporting that he had just shot his wife.
