In the pre-dawn hours of December 21, 2025, law enforcement officers in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to the intersection of Admiral Boulevard and The Paseo following reports of a shooting. Arriving just before 4:30 a.m., first responders discovered a victim lying unresponsive in the street. The individual, later identified as 33-year-old Johntrel L.
