On the evening of December 22, 2025, officers from the Austin Police Department responded to a distress call at a residence located in the 10400 block of O'Rourk Lane in southwest Austin, Texas. The emergency communication center received a report around 5:19 p.m. from a woman stating that a shooting had occurred inside the home involving her father and her son.
