Robert Victor Dillard III, a 23-year-old Black male from Spartanburg, South Carolina, was shot inside Apartment E-20 of the Limestone Courts public housing complex on North Limestone Street in Gaffney on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Local reports say Gaffney police were called to the complex a little after 2:30 p.m. and found Dillard lying near the back door of the unit with a gunshot wound to the head. He was treated at the scene and then rushed by EMS to Spartanburg Medical Cen ...
