Thomas Harker Jr., a 55-year-old man from the small mountain community of Alma, Colorado, was fatally shot on the night of November 10, 2025, on a cold stretch of ground just outside the town limits. Deputies from the Park County Sheriff's Office were dispatched after a man called 911 around 8:15 p.m. and reported that he had just shot someone near Alma.
