Thomas Harker Jr., a 55-year-old man from the small mountain community of Alma, Colorado, was fatally shot on the night of November 10, 2025, on a cold stretch of ground just outside the town limits. Deputies from the Park County Sheriff's Office were dispatched after a man called 911 around 8:15 p.m. and reported that he had just shot someone near Alma. When they arrived, they found Harker suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately attempted lifesaving measures, but he died at the scene only ...
