Randy Reed, 59, a male from Huntsville, was shot on the afternoon of October 10, 2025, in the 2600 block of Hilltop Terrace. Officers arrived around 2:40 p.m. to find him critically wounded; he was transported to a local hospital, where his condition remained life-threatening. In the days that followed, police confirmed he had died from his injuries, and community memorial pages marked October 10 as the date tied to the fatal shooting.
