Kendrick Javonne Lesesne was a 25-year-old Black male who died after being shot while driving on the Florida Turnpike on Sunday night, October 19, 2025. According to investigators, he was found with a gunshot wound inside his Hyundai and pronounced dead at the scene following an hours-long closure of the northbound lanes near the 199th Street exit by Hard Rock Stadium in Miami-Dade County. Florida Highway Patrol is leading the case and initially treated it as a possible road-rage shooting.
