On the night of October 17, 2014, 23-year-old Kyle Devaine Ntiforo stepped into downtown Albuquerque's after-hours thrum near the Lotus nightclub off Gold Avenue. What began as a confrontation with two men spilled into an alley and turned fatal. Gunfire cut through the pre-dawn noise, and when it stopped, Ntiforo—described by loved ones as a devoted brother and a driven personal trainer—was mortally wounded.
