Twenty-four-year-old Doreen Marquez, a female from Albuquerque, vanished on October 10, 2003. Family and police would later learn that Doreen Marquez's disappearance fit a grim pattern that would come to light years later on the city's West Mesa. She was last seen in 2003; her exact date of death is unknown, but investigators believe she was killed sometime between 2003 and 2005 and buried on a remote stretch near 118th Street SW, where development had not yet reached.
