Jarod Douglas Turner, 28, a Black male from San Antonio, was gunned down in a drive-by attack on the afternoon of May 27, 2025, moments after finishing a meal with his girlfriend and their young child. As the family walked to their vehicle outside the 54th Street Scratch Grill & Bar in the Alamo Ranch area, gunfire erupted from a passing SUV, striking Turner multiple times as he tried to get into the car.
