Jamie Windom, 16, a teenage boy from Lufkin, was shot on the evening of Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the 100 block of Percy Simond Street near the Pinewood Park Apartments. He was first taken to Woodland Heights Medical Center and then flown to a Houston hospital, where he died early Thursday morning.
