Ireanna Powe, a 20-year-old Black woman from Fort Worth, Texas, was shot and killed in the early hours of June 24, 2025. Officers were dispatched just after 1:30 a.m. to an apartment in the 6100 block of Sparrow Wood Lane in the Woodhaven area, where they found the 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her torso.
